I am professional software developer with industry experience in several languages and frameworks, including but not limited to C#, Java, JavaScript, Typescript, Python and C++. Experienced in .NET application and website development with proven and professional expertise in modern development and design patterns. Conversant with deployment to AWS, EC2, Digital Ocean and other platforms. Skilled in writing readable, maintainable and elegant code. Up to date with modern development patterns and proficient in developing user-centred applications. Capable of navigating emerging tech industry and learning new best practices with ease.

Member of an agile team working with frameworks like React and GraphQL to deliver state of the art products and services. I have proven expertise and professional experience in Java, JavaScript, Typescript, React, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Git and Digital Ocean droplet management. Recognized and awarded for exemplary performance in June and July 2022 on a project that handled shipments and storage of
sensitive client items.

June 2021 – August 2021

Xetova

Django Developer

Using the Django framework and other technologies, I was a development consultant,
active in the development and rollout of various products for Xetova, including
xbixetova.com and marketplace.xetova.com.

May 2020 – December 2020

Walgotech Solutions

Developer

Worked at Walgotech Solutions to develop and deliver state of the art enterprise solutions, including school management platforms and other technology solutions. Our main framework was JavaFX but others were used, including React.

Freelancing

Hostel and Tenancy Management

Hostel and Tenancy Management Platform

Designed and implemented a hostel management platform that is currently being used by several hostels around Dedan Kimathi University of Technology.
Reduced payment overdue cases by over half, improved on room transfer documentation and increased efficiency through online booking.

Mwangaza Eye Clinic

Mwangaza Eye Clinic Management Platform

Worked with Mwangaza Eye Clinic to design and implement a platform for the management of patients and patient records and day to day operations of the clinic. Did away with the need for manual records. Improved customer satisfaction and doubled the number of patients the doctor could see in a day.

Masurprise Internet Solutions

Masurprise Internet Solutions Management Platform

Developed an application to interact with Mikrotik routers to manage internet services for Masurprise clients. Did away with having to manually disconnect
defaulting clients and sending payment reminders. Improved service delivery by
monitoring connection status and traffic bottlenecks.
